    2- <\/strong>More than 14000 E-Invoicing systems<\/strong>have managed to connect with the Fatoora platform after meeting the requirements to be qualified by ZATCA.<\/p>\n

    Phases And Waves<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    E-Invoicing in Saudi Arabia has been rolled out in two different phases, the Generation Phase <\/strong>and the Integration Phase.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The Generation Phase:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    The first phase was rolled out on December the 4th, 2021<\/strong>. The details of the Generation Phase have been shared through systematic steps and carefully crafted strategies.<\/p>\n

    Who is Included in This Stage?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    This stage has included all taxpayers in Saudi Arabia (excluding non-resident taxpayers) and any other parties issuing tax invoices.<\/p>\n

    What Are The Most Remarkable Outcomes of This Phase?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Canceling paper invoices, handwritten invoices, invoices written through other systems than the approved E-invoicing system, and any similar system.<\/li>\n
    • Supports QR codes for all issued invoices.<\/li>\n
    • The system should be ZATCA-approved & adhere to ZATCA\u2019s regulations.<\/li>\n
    • Prohibiting invoice & record manipulation or generating more than one invoice sequence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The Integration Phase:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      The Integration Phase was rolled out on January the first, 2023, <\/strong>and is still ongoing. This phase has been divided into multiple waves and organizations are notified of their turn to be included in the wave 6 months before<\/strong> the decision becomes mandatory.
