Wave 16 Requirements of The Integration Phase
ZATCA announces wave 16 of Phase Two also known as The Integration Phase to determine organizations included in this wave. The decision included taxpayers with annual taxable revenue that exceeds 3M SR during the year 2022 or 2023.
ZATCA has also clarified that organizations included in wave 16 are going to be notified 6 months prior to their compliance date, which is 1 April 2025, to avoid penalties and settle their financial obligations.
Why Does Phase 2 of E-invoicing Compliance Matter?
E-invoicing was implemented in Saudi Arabia in two phases. Phase One, known as “The Generation Phase” and Phase Two known, as “The Integration Phase”. Phase Two obliged taxpayers to integrate with the FATOORAH platform, this included all waves that have been shared till this moment. It’s worth mentioning that this comes as part of ZATCA’s decision to categorize Phase Two into various waves; each according to their annual taxable revenue.
